Elderly Care - Senior Citizen
Elderly-Senior Citizens represent our heritage and possess social wisdom that our country sorely needs. For this reason, our objective is to connect the more than five thousand elderly people that have some level of need for assistance and are living in situations of social risk. Our country needs the connection between the generations to overcome social exclusion.
While we understand their capabilities and desire for independent living, we also recognize that residential care is a necessary alternative for older adults who are without the support of caregivers.
We have four types of care programs:
1. The Home Care Program is for dependent elderly people. We work in the homes of our caregivers to help them with socio-family support, resources needed for a better quality of life, and connections with social and health networks.
2. Our Encounter Centers are assisted living centers for seniors. We provide multi-disciplinary care to our caregivers in order to maintain and improve physical and mental functions as well as social bonding, enabling participants to live in their community.
3. In our Nursing Homes, we care for moderately and severely dependent Elderly-Senior Citizens, who require care and do not have a support network that allows them to stay at home.
4. Our Sick Room targets Elderly-Senior Citizens diagnosed with terminal illness or chronic incurable and progressive diseases, who require palliative care at the end of life and are without support networks.
